- The Name A name carries the reputation of the person. If I say my husband's name, several things happen in the minds of those who know him. One of the things that happens, is that they think of his personality and his character. Proverbs 22:1 A good name is to be more desired than great wealth, Favor is better than silver and gold.Ecclesiastes 7:1 A good name is better than a good ointment... Read more...

- What is Christianity? Don't you love it when someone outside your religion tells you what it's about?I am about sick of non-Christians telling me what Jesus taught, or what He would do.Point One: Love your neighbor. Guess what? That's not something Jesus made up, it's from The Law*, in Leviticus. - Your Next Purchase Will be This... A CueCat. What is that you ask? Why it's a bar code scanner that plugs into your computer. Why do I need a bar code scanner you ask? Well, because you can scan the bar codes on your books and catalogue them all at Librarything.com. that's right. No entering ISBNs or worse, titles and authors. Just scan and you're done! I learned about it yesterday while lurking at The Well Trained Mind forum. I'm not much for classical homeschooling but shucks, those moms have ALL the neatest homeschool gadgets. Read more...
- Can’t I Just Cry? That is what I want to do anyways, but it won’t change a gosh-darn thing. Sigh.My computer is DEAD, well not dead, but will do nothing but show the desktop background. All my files, photos, graphics, and emails are on there but there is no way to access them. I don’t know if we can [... Read more...
- Picture Me Footloose and Fancy Free So I’ve been getting a little “edgy” lately. Edgy might be a slight understatement. There have been some extended family stressors and internal stressors and I’ve been feeling the heat, so to speak. So R-T, best hubby in the world that he is, suggested that he take a day off work, and that I have a “Me” Day. A “no worries” day. A “footloose and fancy free” day. Well, you know I didn’t turn him down. So…welcome to my Photo Blog of “Topsy Gone Wild. Read more...
